This section features nighttime photos and videos of vintage theaters and signs around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. There are still many signs in the area that I haven't found yet. I hope I can find them and photograph them before they are lost forever.

Fortunately there are still several very nice examples of original theater neon towers/marquees around the DFW area. The Plaza theater in Garland and Inwood theater at Lovers Lane and Inwood road in Dallas are probably the finest examples I have seen. Both theaters have amazingly sequenced neon theater tower displays. All the theaters shown here have their own unique interesting elements to their designs. I have given the old theaters their own section here because they are unique in that they have entire neon extravaganzas going on with the marquees and theater towers.

Orginal vintage neon signs are getting harder to find. There are a few remaining signs with sequenced flashing elements but they are very few and far between. The main purpose of this site is to try to encourage appreciation of these disappearing works of neon art, which is what they truly are. Here I have photos and videos of vintage signs of all types.
